Title: The ghost of Oiwa -Being a popular Kabuki play, Yotsuya Kaidan was a new subject for ukiyo-e artists. Kuniyoshi produced several prints of 'The Ghost of Oiwa' in a number of Kabuki adaptations. She is recognizable by her drooping eye and baldness. Here she is manacled to a door with her evil husband Iemon wielding a sword above her.
